The focus of this RFA is to use an integrated approach to elucidate the mechanisms and processes underlying the complexity of Sjogren's syndrome, an autoimmune disease prevalent in women. Integrative, multidisciplinary research approaches are encouraged to address the gaps in scientific and clinical knowledge, provide more precise molecular understanding of the pathophysiology of Sjogren's syndrome and to develop preventive measures and therapies for Sjogren's syndrome.
